Parkside and A Beautiful Afternoon Plus A BIG WIN!

Today began early for Tim and I as we started off to church at 7:40 a.m.  The church is 35 minutes away but there's nothing that compares to it.  We went to this church years ago when Ben was little, but moved to Grace for the kids since they had a fantastic youth group.  We loved going to Parkside because of the type of preaching Allistair Begg does.  He preaches through a book of the Bible instead of doing topical sermons.  He always leaves you with something from his sermons.  Today's nugget, was, keep on.
This doesn't make sense unless you heard the sermon, however, it's obvious and yet a good reminder.  Sometimes we just don't want to go on.  We want to stop it all and just fade into the woodwork.  Just like a wallflower, we want to allow life to pass us by.  However, as a Christian we are called to take our light into the world and let people hear about Jesus.  It's hard to do.  It gets discouraging.  So glad to be reminded of my job here on earth.

Today was a gorgeous day outside once it warmed up.  While driving to church we drove through fog for a while.  It warmed up enough so we could eat outside on the screened in porch for lunch.

Today a young deer lay in the grass, in the shade, eating grass just as content as could be.  A bit later that little deer walked by the porch and Phoebe took off towards the deer.  It was funny to watch this little kitten run toward the deer then skid to a stop.  You know she didn't realize what she was doing.

I don't mind the deer when they eat the grass.  It's when they eat our bushes and flowers that I get annoyed and upset.

Some reading this may be Steeler fans-Hi Hope.  I was wondering if you knew the final score of the game today.  No?  You didn't hear?  Well, I'll let you know, it was

Final: Browns 31, Steelers 10

I have been stamping to make cards for the Hope You Can Cling To challenges on SCS as well as daily challenges.  Here are a couple of cards to share.

I'm still working on the cards for Cleveland Clinic Hospice.  Hope to deliver them soon.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Blessings,
