Memories and Miracles

Here it is Saturday evening and I'm so tired but still can't go to sleep.  It's been a crazy few days for me.  Yesterday at school, my dear friend had to leave in the morning because her father-in-law was dying.  We had a crazy morning but it went well.  We got the parent's cards stamped then students colored them and wrote a note to their mom and dad.

I did learn I took too much for granted. I told them to write to mom and dad inside the card.  Then write to mom and dad on the envelope.  Well needless to say we had envelopes with cute notes on them to parents, and cards that said, "To Mom and Dad" inside.

This is my verse today. I think as a teenager I was the fool. As I've grown older I've become more and more mature and understading.  I really like to learn. I do a lot of research for cards and new techniques.  Sometimes it's just learning something new online.  It keeps my brain active and alert.
I guess now and then we all play the fool. It's interesting, the older I get, the less I care about what others think. I don't have to be right and win the arguement either.  Thank you God for helping my grow into a mature Christian.
Last evening a dear friend's father-in-law died.  He had an aggressive brain cancer. I'm praying for her, her husband and their family.  We had a staff dinner at Stancatos tonight.  This is a tradition for them.  This puzzled me because on my last day before vacation, I just wanted to get out!
I was invited to attend and was honored to attend.  The meal and staff made it a memorable evening.
Thank you Lord, for the prayer Karen said for my friend and her family before she left to be with her father-in-law.  It was incredible and from God's mouth to her lips.  It was so sincere and greatly appreciated by my friend.

This is a picture from last year when we got sleet and snow together.  Last night we had snow and accidents all over due to the slippery roads and bridges.  So glad Ben and I didn't have far to go.  Here' an amazing story.  Ben went through the line to get what he needed.  His bill was 22.76.  I went through after him with completely different things and guess what my total was?  Nope, it was 22.76!  It freaked us both out.  Ben said he didn't think he wanted to shop with me again.  LOL  What do you think the chances of that happening is?  Pretty funny huh?

These next pictures were memories of Ben and Rachel's wedding.  This is in the courtyard before the service.

Here they are up on the wrap around porch for pictures.

This is Tim's dad.  The kids visit him each week and take a meal or go out for one with him.  I don't know who is blessed more by the visit, Dad or the kids.  Reminds me of  going each Wednesday evening and eat what my grandfather had fixed for dinner.  Such sweet memories.
Think about this each day: One Kind Word can change someone's day!  Be the change in the world.  Be the light people need to see.
I was in a mood for some Josh Groban tonight.

Last night I didn't sleep well at all.  I kept tossing and turning and waking up.  I was so tired when I got up.  I couldn't stay in bed, I was so hungry.

Medical:My hip pain is still gone.  But my neck pain to my arm, isn't gone. I didn't sleep well last night and got up as tired as I was when I went to sleep.  That's not happened to me before.  I'm praying that I will get more sleep tonight.

My twin texted me that baby Adam is feeling much better today.  Praise God!  Adam was supposed to go home with Beka and Brett, Monday.  We'll see how things go in the next few days.

Blessing of the Day:The great news about Adam.
Thanks for visiting today.
Blessings,
