A Sad Day

Today we had to do a very difficult thing; we had to put Annabelle down.  She was 15 years old and had heart and neurological issues.  So our family is one less today and all hearts are broken.  Sarah's heart the most since she and Annabelle were inseperable.  Sarah and Ben grew up with Annabelle and her brother, Sam.  The kids named the kittens.  Ben was into Green Eggs and Ham, so the male kitten was Sam.  Sarah got her name from a video she saw about a cow named Annabelle.  Ben was 5 and Sarah was 3 when we brought the kittens home.  We've had lots of fun with our kitties over the years.  We now just have Phoebe, our munchkin cat who is almost 3 years old. Thanks Annabelle for all the joy you brought to our lives.  We will truly miss you.
This was the card I made for today's challenge.  You had to make a one layer card with no accessories or bling. I sponged a beach scene.
This is a great video about Cleveland.  I don't know however, why they had to start with the river burning. That happened a long time ago.

This creative artist and card maker is a Christian who wants to send kindness all over and encourages those of us who stamp, to do the same thing.  Often times those of us who make the cards don't send many. LOL  I'm going to try to do better at this.

Love the last part of this-serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Blessing of the Day:Ben, Sarah and Rachel are packing up Sarah's things.  Family time is watching the college playoff game tonight.
Thanks for stopping by,
Blessings,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Loved hearing annabelle and sam's story. You are lucky to have had many years with her and I'm sure you will be missing her in time to come. Those darling little creatures get into your life and heart and become part of your family. Losing them is so painful but the joy she brought to you and your lovely family is immeasurable. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

For some reason I receive your blog the day after. It isn't just your blog either, so it isn't you. There are a few for some reason I don't get on the day it is dated but it isn't a bid deal, just something I notice once in awhile.

Love love love the CLE video! Yeah, why bring in the river burning?! Except it is a familiar CLE time in history, so they are showing how it has grown into an exciting place to be. I think it's always been a great place to be. Thank you for your great highlights of the city. Watching the video, i could spot places you've covered. Very cool!

Love your single layer card. Your sand is very effective. The card turned out lovely.
Thank you for the inspiration.
Oh, and I love Jennifer. Thanks for sharing her video.
