Christmas and Tiny Dies

 Hey Everybody,

Back again with a new set of stamps and dies.

Roberta's challenge to us today was to use the colors cherry cobbler, white and garden green. It was optional if you wanted to make a Christmas card. Her challenge can be found here.

This was a new to me, stamp and die set. The background of green is a large background stamp with white areas for the leaves and poinsettia flowers. There are many small pieces to this die set, which made me a bit twitchy! LOL

I bought the stamps on sale thinking they were stand alone. There were not however, so I purchased the dies. Then I saw how small some of them were. I had already committed to doing the card, so I charged ahead. So you have the flowers, lined leaves are larger dies. The 3 and 4 leaf stems were individual pieces as were the berries. Instead of cutting out the berries I used SU peppermints. LOL

I think next time, I'll pop up some of the flowers so you can tell they've been die cut and not just colored.

Keywords: CC1062

Do you enjoy working with small dies and pieces?  Like I said, little pieces make me twitchy! I am trying more and more to use dies and some of them are very small. One of my friends says she loves small pieces! She said she uses her tweezers and it's so relaxing!

I'll keep trying to use them, but not sure I'll get to the point where it's relaxing.
Maybe I'll work my way from larger die cut items to smaller ones.  That sounds like a good plan to me.

Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
Sue
