Crazy Weekend To Be Sure

It's been a crazy weekend. Friday night was Card Ministry. There were six of us and we made 120 cards in two hours. Not bad huh? Here are some of the cards we made.

 This card has the new embossing folder called Lacy Brocade.  Isn't it lovely?

Saturday brought a visit from Jane and a trip to see Footloose by a community dance troupe.  It was just wonderful.  And we were the beneficiaries of an act of kindness.  Just before the show started, a woman walked up to us and asked if we were together.  When we said yes, she gave us front row tickets to the performance!  We got to see Sarah's Best Friend, Abbi dance right in front of us!  What a wonderful Gift.

Today brought with it church and getting algaecide for the pool. We have algae that we can't get rid of.  Hopefull this will help.
  Ben and Sarah went to Grandpa's until Tuesday afternoon.  It always does him well to have them stay with him.  I'm so thankful that they like to do this.  I know it's great for them as well.

This was my inspiration for my card.

I got information that my aunt died Saturday afternoon in her sleep.  It was after a wonderful day with her kids at a reunion of sorts.  She was tired and wanted to lay down after the picnic and her daughter was going to help her get ready for bed.  She told her daughter she wanted to lay there 5 more minutes.  When the daughter came back she was gone.  What a peaceful way to die.  Goodbye Aunt Junie.

It's time for sleep.  I'll have to do the technique challenge in the morning.
